Xbox Game Pass is Late to the Party

Can I be real. Just for five minutes. Xbox is desperate. They are doing what I call “catching up”. Now I am not about which console is the greatest but right now Xbox is pulling straws right now. Some may say they are setting up for the scorpio project but let’s be real. Playstation 4 got those console selling titles and the Nintendo Switch got a hype train full steam ahead. Xbox recently announced the Xbox Game Pass. Similar to Playstation now that stream games. The Xbox Game Pass will do the same but with one significant difference. Instead of streaming you download the full game.

Xbox Game Pass gives you unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and backward compatible Xbox 360 games – all for $9.99 per month. One of the best things about Xbox Game Pass is that you can discover and download the full titles directly on your Xbox One. That means continuous, full-fidelity gameplay without having to worry about streaming, bandwidth or connectivity issues.

In addition, all Xbox One games in the catalog will be available to purchase at an exclusive discount for Xbox Game Pass members. This would of been great news couple years ago. Right now it seem a bit to late. Don’t get me wrong this is an excellent idea. One that I would of personally jumped on if I wanted to be able to play classic games and even some new ones. Only time will tell and see if this will make a splash in the gaming community. I know one thing for sure is that companies like Gamestop won’t like this at all. To read more about this click HERE.
