Square Enix E3 2019 Details

The guys at Square Enix got some interesting titles that made me raise an eyebrow. They also shipped some of their Japanese Titles over to the west.

I am not sure what to feel for this game. I don’t want to spook the game but I am not feeling the urge to even check the Beta. Gonna be on the fence for this one. You’ll be able to play as five characters: Cap, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Iron Man. It will have four-player online co-op, and every new character and map added to the game will be free. No “random lootboxes or pay-to-win scenarios.” Xbox, PlayStation 4, PC, Stadia.

The first installment, the one it’ll ship on March 3, will include the Midgar portion of the original game, which has been expanded. It’ll take up two Blu-ray discs. Just let that sink in for a moment. The Midgar portion alone will be on two blu-ray discs. That is about 100gb. For the first installment. Unless they shrink the rest of the game I will not be downloading this game. At least we finally got a date.

The bastard child of the Final Fantasy Family is finally getting a remastered version. Personally I could care less for this game. Not a fan.

This is a 1- to 3-player cooperative shooter, from the maker of Gears of War: Judgment. Square Enix calls it “a journey across a dark and desperate sci-fi world in search of the source of a mysterious signal.” Yeah Not sure about this game. They didn’t show any gameplay but we can say it will be third person.

Oninaki is an action RPG, and one with an appropriately solemn setting, as you play a character “whose duty is to usher lost souls into the next world.” The game will be out on the Switch, PS4, and Steam on August.

Dragon Quest 11 is heading to Switch this fall with an option 16 bit visual style from the Japanese 3DS version!

This is Aiden. A survivor in an infected world. The fate of The City is in your hands. Dying Light 2 coming Spring 2020.

Yes Square Enix delivered an “OK” E3. Most fans like myself was hyped for the Final Fantasy 7 remake. We actually got to see gameplay and they didn’t missed a beat. I give them a C+.
