The ending of season 7 left us wanting more as so much has transpired. We saw Jamie finally had enough of his psychotic sister’s way and is heading for Winterfell, Jon and Danny finally giving into their feelings for one another, NO MORE Littlefinger manipulating people (gonna miss him) and the biggest jaw dropper was that The Wall has finally been taken down with the help of a dead Viserion. With all that’s happened we eagerly anticipate the return of the season finale. Unfortunately, we will have to wait an extra year, 2019 to know that fate of Westeros. I know many are wondering, who will be the last person standing and claiming the iron throne? Will there be a kingdom to rule or will the White Walkers take over and destroy humanity!
I know this news is leaving many fans all over the world quite upset but honestly, Im releaved! Since the passing of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in the Caribbean, many of our infrastures has been destroyed and Im hoping that it will be restored in time for the release. I wouldnt want to miss a single episode.
There are many spectulations as to why the long delay. One was to give the creator George R. R. Martin the opportunity to release his long-awaited novel, “The Winds of Winter” from his Fire and Blood series. In addition, a news release from HBO announced that credits for season 8 will include : series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, David Nutter, and Miguel Sapochnik. Benioff and Weiss will also write the new season along with Bryan Cogman and Dave Hill. Benioff and Weiss executive produce along with Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger and Bernadette Caulfield. Cogman, Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis and George R.R. Martin as co-executive producers.
Whenever HBO provide an update on our beloved show, you can count on us to provide you with a recap of whats happening in case you’ve missed it.
Until next time. Xoxo
