All right EA Press Conference is done and here are the highlights of that event and my grade of said conference!
First up with EA was Titanfall 2. Although the Single Player Trailer was leaked they still had a strong showing with details and multiplayer footage that wasn’t leaked.
With E-sports being the focus this time around. Three different types of tournaments will be hosted by EA. 1 Million dollars up for the EA Major tournament.
MASS EFFECT ANDROMEDA:
Mass Effect Andromeda will be my wet dream. This thing look like what Destiny wanted to be. More freedom. Exploration is encouraged. It will be using the infamous Frostbite Engine.
Fifa 17 The Journey Single player mode seem to be the highlight of this game. NBA 2K did something like this before. They spent a good amount of time talking about the physics of the game. They also spoke about the Premier Managers.
The main character is Alex Hunter. I guess we will know who he is in the game.
Not sure if I care for this but it seem to be something that will add some drama to the career mode of the game.
This is basically to help developers push their indie type games. All the profits go back to the Developers. The first game to be developed is called “Fe”. To be honest it was a boring game about a cub talking to nature. Epic fail….
Star Wars Battlefront getting new content. Visercal, Respawn, Dice, Bioware and other gaming developers will be bringing a new IP within the Star Wars universe. It look like VR seem to be in the mix also.
Battlefield 1 will be having and in depth gameplay live stream with Jamie Foxx and Zak Efron playing the game. The destruction is more epic. Weather will change and impact gameplay. There will be ultimate vehicles. BF1 was pure awesomeness.
All in all I wasn’t impressed by EA Press conference. I was hyped for Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 footage. Those were just epic. Mass Effect peaked my interest. I am glad that EA will be supporting E-Sports as it should seeing how E-sports will soon be the type of sports to be main stream. I give them a C+.
