What a year! 2019 we saw the come back of Carib Gamer like no other. So what had the Carib Gamer staff busy this year?
5. Star Wars Fallen Order
Lunchbox love these kinds of games. Of course he still on that Spiderman tip but on a real this game from Respawn was just excellent. From the story line to the gameplay. Now I have a problem with single player games. I pick them up and never finish them. Thank God for Lunchbox cause he does most of the reviews for these types of games. Yet I played it and couldn’t put it down. It was that good. Also Respawn are the guys behind Titanfall and they know how to do a Story mode justice.
4. Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Now Jehuty said she isn’t playing much games right now but she been making some time for this gem. Fire Emblem Three Houses is an epic strategy game that has deep character development with enthralling conversations that pulls you into their world.
3. Tetris 99
It look like another Switch game! Joystyk can’t help herself with this game. She says it taps into her inner nostalgia. Tetris is a faithful classic that survived time and time again. Nintendo reinvented this classic to a strong multiplayer game that can be pretty intense.
2. The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening
BVI Mermaid logged in so much hours for Breath of the Wild that it wasn’t any question what game she was playing. Link’s Awakening just looks gorgeous. Everything about that game screams nostalgia. Also the gameplay isn’t no slouch either. I hope they can bring back some of the older games just like this. I wouldn’t mind paying for that.
1. Modern Warfare
You don’t have to ask who picked this game. Yours truly Caribnerd and It’s Your Boy Blake be running this game RED! Never have I been into a Call of Duty game since Modern Warfare 3. The community is split down the middle because of how campy it feels. Also with the amount of complaining noobs as usual it has become a bit toxic. LOL but that is what made Call of Duty so much fun!! The frustration and the banter between players just entertain me.
There you go fellow gamers! I know you have beeen wondering why we been so quiet on the site but we have been working hard to bring a home in the British virgin Islands for Carib Gamer. That is right! We have a location! More details to come. So with 2020 being a decade we had to make sure come real good! From the whole Carib Gamer team we wish everyone a Happy New Year!!
